The start of the 2017 MLB season is approaching rapidly and few teams are more hyped than the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland made quite a splash this offseason, most notably signing prized free agent Edwin Encarnación. In addition to the big bat, the Indians were able to sign exquisite complementary pitching in pitcher Boone Logan. Adding this talent to a roster that nearly captured the world title just a few months ago is making for one heck of an opening day. April 2nd cannot come soon enough.
While the majority of the buzz surrounds the new additions to the roster, the Cleveland Indians were also busy partnering with local businesses to extend their community outreach programs. By partnering with companies such as Cleveland Clinic Children’s, Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland and even Electronic Merchant Systems, the Cleveland Indians have created valuable fundraising programs and continue to support community initiatives.
As a Cleveland Indians Charities (CIC) partner, Electronic Merchant Systems is committed to promoting service, health, fitness, diversity and sustainability within the community. The company was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and is thrilled to be part of outreach programs that benefit the communities they call home. EMS is looking forward to a very bright future with the Cleveland Indians, both on and off the field.
