PIN Pad Compliance
We are working diligently to ensure compliance with current and future point of sale security mandates. Recently, Visa issued a new mandate that affects the vast majority of merchants that are currently processing PIN debit transactions. This new mandate focuses on strengthening the encryption methodology that currently leaves some PIN hardware susceptible to fraud.
Visa is requiring that all PIN capture hardware use a new encryption type called Triple Data Encryption Standard (TDES). Are you currently using one of these PIN Pad devices?
